Printers, Lumsden score two TDs as Ticats spoil Argos home opener, win 32-13
Jesse Lumsden and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats steamrolled the Toronto Argonauts on Thursday night.

Lumsden rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns while Hamilton amassed 311 yards on the ground en route to a convincing 32-13 win to spoil Toronto's home opener. And the timing couldn't have been worse as the Rogers Centre gathering of 30,822 was the largest crowd for an Argos home opener since 1992.

Ticats GM O'Billovich says slotback Bauman isn’t on trade market
Hamilton Tiger-Cats GM Bob O'Billovich is denying suggestions receiver Chris Bauman's days with the CFL club are numbered.

A CFL source requesting anonymity told The Canadian Press on Thursday the Ticats are actively shopping the sophomore receiver, who was the first player taken in last year's Canadian college draft.

But O'Billovich said that's simply not the case.

Joseph to start but Bishop also expected to play for Argos versus Ticats
Once again Kerry Joseph will start at quarterback for the Toronto Argonauts and once again he can expect to be looking over his shoulder to see if backup Michael Bishop is trotting in.

Joseph will be under centre when the Argos (1-0) host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (0-1) on Thursday night (TSN, 7 p.m. ET). But Toronto head coach Rich Stubler won't hesitate to give Bishop some playing time as well.

For Casey Printers and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, there's nowhere to go but up.

The Ticats suffered through a dismal '07 campaign, posting a league-worst 3-15-0 record to miss the CFL playoffs for the third straight year. Printers came to Hamilton midway through last season after being released by the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.
