Notes:
-
Antonio Rocca defeated Dick Schikat in a
tournament final according to the Weekly Gong Magazine.
Roca won the title by defeating Buddy Rogers in July of 1959 in New York
City, New York. The title was then vacated in the 1960's and became
inactive.
-
Tatsumi Fujinami wins the match by Count
Out but refused to accept the belt. Riki Coshu couldn't
get into Canada for the rematch in Calgary, Alberta on August 12, 1982,
and Fujinami was recognized
as champion. Fujinami gave up the title after a Double Disqualification
against Super Strong Machine
on July 19, 1985 in Sapporo, Japan. The title was then abandoned on
October 31, 1985 when New
Japan and the WWF split.
