tournament final to win the title.

Shawn Michaels was ordered by WWF
Commisioner, Sgt. Slaughter, to defend the title against Hunter Hearst
Helmsley and intentionally loses the title.

Owen Hart defeated Goldust, who dressed
up like Helmsley. WWF Commisoner, Sgt. Slaughter, awards the title to Owen
Hart after defeating Goldust, who subsituted for Helmsley.

Shane McMahon pinned X-Pac in a tag team
match then abandoned the title on April 4, 1999.

The title was awarded to Mideon after
finding it in Shane's duffel bag.

Jeff Jarrett awarded the title to Mark
Henry after winning the Intercontinental title on August 22, 1999.

Val Venis defeated Davey Boy Smith and
D-Lo Brown in a three-way dance.

Chris Jericho defeated Kurt Angle and Chris
Benoit in a three-way dance.

Title unified with the Intercontinental Title when Rob Van
Dam defeated Jeff Hardy to win the title in a ladder match.
