MADISON, Wis. - Jason Bohannon scored a career-high 20 points and Wisconsin used a long second-half run to take control in a 74-45 victory over Northwestern on Wednesday.
Bohannon was 8-of-12 from the field against the Big Ten’s best defensive team, hitting several key shots down the stretch for the Badgers (12-3, 3-0 Big Ten).
Craig Moore and Kevin Coble scored 9 points each in a poor offensive outing by the Wildcats (8-5, 0-3).
With Wisconsin leading by 9 early in the second half, Bohannon bounced in a 3-pointer off the rim—kicking off an extended 23-7 run that included a scoreless streak of more than three minutes by Northwestern.
