WINNIPEG - A look at the 2008 Winnipeg Blue Bombers:

Coach: Doug Berry, third season.

Stadium: Canad Inns Stadium, seating capacity for football, 29,530

Last season: The Bombers mounted a 10-7-1 regular-season record and defeated Montreal and Toronto in the playoffs. Winnipeg met the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the first time in the Grey Cup, but quarterback Kevin Glenn was out with a broken arm from the East Division final. Back-up Ryan Dinwiddie got his first career start in the championship game, but the Riders came away with a 23-19 victory.

Notable additions: Receiver Romby Bryant, defensive back Jovon Johnson, offensive lineman Brendan LaBatte, punter Duncan OMahony, quarterback Bryan Randall, placekicker Alexis Serna.

Departures: Defensive back Juran Bolden, receiver Chris Brazzell, punter Pat Fleming, offensive lineman Andrew Greene, safety Kyries Hebert, receiver/kick returner Albert Johnson III, defensive back Greg Moss, kicker Rob Pikula, kick returner Keith Stokes, kicker Troy Westwood, receiver ONeil Wilson.

The skinny: Can Kevin Glenn stay healthy through the entire campaign? Will rookie placekicker Alexis Serna fill the void left by Troy Westwood? Can punter Duncan O’Mahony put the team in good field position?
