WWE World Heavyweight Championship Rankings
Current Champion: Triple H (9th reign, 1 successful defense)

1. Shelton Benjamin - Intercontinental Champion (1st Reign, 0 successful defenses)
As always, when there is no Number 1 Contender named, the Intercontinental Champion should be looked at as the Number 1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. With an impressive victory over 7x IC Champion Chris Jericho at Taboo Tuesday, Shelton Benjamin picked up his first Intercontinental Championship and the right to call himself the MOP Squad Number 1 Contender. Benjamin, who seemed destined to take the Intercontinental Championship from Randy Orton before his injury earlier this year, has used his Exploder Suplex to perfection since returning to the ring and picked up singles gold before his former World's Greatest Tag Team partner Charlie Haas.

2. Randy Orton
With an incredible victory over the TRUE legend in this business at Taboo Tuesday, Randy Orton has truly cemented himself in the annals of sports entertainment as the Legend Killer and has skyrocketed back into contention for the World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton became the youngest WWE champion at SummerSlam and, if his victory over Ric Flair is a sign of things to come, look for this 3rd generation superstar to become the WWE's backbone in the years to come. Orton has what it takes to surpass the likes of Steve Austin and The Rock in this business and, come Survivor Series, he could be aiming to show even the strongest doubters just that.

3. Chris Benoit - World Tag Team Champion (1st reign, 2 successful defenses)
After losing the fan's vote to Shawn Michaels at Taboo Tuesday, the Rabid Wolverine made the best out of a bad situation by regaining the World Tag Team Championships for him and his partner, Edge. Benoit hasn't had a fair rematch since he was screwed at the RAW following SummerSlam and he is definately gearing up to win the belt back. Having only held one recognized World Championship in his illustrious career, Benoit will still go down as one of the best champions of all time and he's ready and willing to prove that...one German Suplex at a time.

4. Edge - World Tag Team Champion (1st reign, 2 successful defenses)
Edge believes that he should've gotten the chance to face Triple H at Taboo Tuesday, unfortunately for him, the fans didn't agree. Edge walked out on his tag team partner during his match at Taboo Tuesday and will still manage to walk away with a piece of gold. If Edge is looking to be boosted into the World title hunt going into Survivor Series he's going about it the wrong way because, after Taboo Tuesday, he's going to be answering questions from Benoit and the man who he cost the title at the PPV, Shawn Michaels. Being stuck between Sweet Chin Music and a Crossface isn't somewhere anyone should be comfortable...but Edge could have Michaels and Benoit just where he wants them.

5. Gene Snitsky
Snitsky suprised everyone at Taboo Tuesday when he soundly defeated Kane an extremely violent fashion. While most people wouldn't be considered a series threat to a major title within their first month of debuting, most people wouldn't walk out of a PPV wearing Kane's blood and still standing within SIX MONTHS of their debut, especially after taking something that Kane loved away from him. After a performance like that, one would believe that Snitsky could be ready to challenge Benjamin or Triple H...but one also has to believe that the Big Red Machine isn't done just yet.

6. Shawn Michaels
7. Chris Jericho
8. Kane
9. Christian
10. Eugene

World Tag Team Championship Rankings
Current Champions: Chris Benoit & Edge (2nd reign, 0 successful defenses)

1. La Resistance - Former Champions
After basically being defeated singlehandedly by Benoit at Taboo Tuesday, Conway and Grenier will be looking for payback and will be looking for a rematch. Being that they're one of the only really established teams on RAW, one would have to assume that they're the natural choice to be named Number 1 Contenders. Only time...and Eric Bischoff...will tell.

2. William Regal & Eugene
After being screwed out of the tag team titles in Manchester just 2 weeks ago, Regal and Eugene will be looking for another shot at the gold. While most sites don't recognize Regal and Eugene's reign as World Tag Team Champions, The Truth does and The Truth believes that since Eugene has had a taste of gold, the special little guy is gonna go back for seconds. But to get that shot they'll have to go through Eugene's Uncle Eric and, after having his head shaved by his nephew at Taboo Tuesday, you have to believe that Uncle Eric just isn't in a giving mood.

WWE Heavyweight Championship Rankings
Current Champion: John Bradshaw Layfield (1st reign, 5 successful defenses)

1. Carlito Carribean Cool - United States Champion (1st reign, 1 successful defense)
Carlito made his debut on the SmackDown! following No Mercy, defeating John Cena to capture his newly-won US Championship. As the US Champion, and since no official Number 1 Contender has been named, Carlito has secured the spot as the Number 1 Contender, at least for the time being. Carlito, however, seems to have his hands full at the moment with Rey Mysterio who has now set his sights on the US title after winning a battle royal on SmackDown! to earn a shot at the title and being defeated. Rey-Rey will most certainly come back at Carlito and look to add to his WWE resume with the US Title.

2. The Big Show
Following his victory over Kurt Angle at No Mercy, the recently returned Big Show has now launched himself back into the championship hunt. Big Show hasn't held a title since he lost the US Championship to Cena at WrestleMania XX but he is a two time WWE Champion, with both of his titles coming to him at Survivor Series (1999 over The Rock/Triple H and 2002 over Brock Lesnar). With the annual November PPV coming right around the corner, one has to wonder if the Big Show is looking for a 3-peat.

3. Eddie Guerrero - Former Champion
After losing the WWE Championship to JBL at the Great American Bash and being defeated in the subsequent rematch on SmackDown!, Eddie went on to lose 2 in a row to Kurt Angle. The elder Guerrero seems to be back in action though after a major victory over Luther Reigns at No Mercy. Eddie has been beltless for 4 months now and I'm sure his waist is getting cold. Eddie will be looking to build on his win over Kurt Angle's backup with a few more top notch wins and, when Latino Heat gets on a roll, look for him to regain a championship that he was cheated out of in the first place.

4. Hardcore Holly
The last time Hardcore Holly was in a main event, he was soundly defeated by Brock Lesnar at the 2004 Royal Rumble. SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long decided it was time for Bob to get his second chance and he signed a title match for SmackDown! between Holly and JBL. JBL defeated Holly in the match but don't think Bob is done, he'll be looking for revenge and two of the toughest men in the WWE will put on a brutal brawl, the likes of which has rarely been seen...even if the crowds don't support the combatants.

5. Kurt Angle
Angle's last title shot was at WrestleMania XX when he was defeated by Eddie Guerrero and his "trick boot". Since being added back to the active roster, Kurt has been on a path of revenge that led straight to Eddie's door. Angle defeated Eddie in 2 straight matches, seemingly ending their feud but, just when Angle looked to be ready for a shot at the WWE Championship, he was met with The Big Show. Big Show defeated Kurt at No Mercy and, on SmackDown!, Kurt was eliminated from a match to determine the Number 1 Contender to the US Title by Rey-Rey. Angle definately wants the WWE Championship back, but it's going to take some work for the Olympic Champion to get up to Contendership.

6. Rey Mysterio - United States Championship Number 1 Contender
7. The Undertaker
8. Rene Dupree
- WWE Tag Team Champion (1st reign, 2 successful defenses)
9. Kenzo Suzuki - WWE Tag Team Champion (1st reign, 2 successful defenses)
10. Spike Dudley - Cruiserweight Champion (1st reign, 2 sucessful defenses)

Current Champions: Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree (1st reign, 2 successful defenses)

1. The Dudley Boys
With no Number 1 Contenders actually named, the Dudley Boys get the position by default due to their dominance of the tag team division. The Dudley's will be looking for their 19th tag team title and could very well get it before the year is out. With SmackDown! looking to build their tag team division...could we see TLC IV at Survivor Series.
