WWE RAW Singles Rankings
World Heavyweight Champion - Randy Orton

1. Triple H - Current Number 1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship
After last week's beatdown of the champion at the hands of Evolution, Orton was told, this week, to hand the belt over to Triple H. Orton replied by spitting in Helmsley's face and smashing the title into his head, a move that resulted in Triple H being named the Number 1 Contender. Hunter will get his shot at the Orton and the title at the next RAW brand PPV.

2. Edge - Current Intercontinental Champion
Holding the IC title sets Edge up as the 2nd contender to Orton's title. Edge, however, seems set on a collision course with his old friend and fellow Canadian, Chris Jericho, with the IC Title on the line. This past Monday's match ended with Jericho winning by a DQ, a move he's surely not happy about as he'd like to get his hands on the gold. Once Edge finishes his business with Jericho, we could be looking at another amazing encounter between Orton and Edge.

3. Chris Benoit - Unofficial Number 2 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship
After losing the title at SummerSlam and being screwed out of his RAW Rematch the next night, common sense says Benoit will have another crack at the title before the year is over. Benoit had a solid reign that lasted 5 months and included title defenses against Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Eugene, and Kane, coming out on top against all of them. Next to Triple H, Benoit was the longest reigning World Champion since the WWE brought the title back, easily both Shawn Michaels' and Goldberg's easily forgettable reigns. Benoit will surely make his return to the World Title hunt after Hunter gets his shot, count on it.

4. Chris Jericho - Unofficial Number 1 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship
After Jericho's heartbreaking closecalls at both SummerSlam and RAW, he will be hunting Edge and the Intercontinental Title until he's either incapacitated or holds the title. Jericho has set the record for the most IC Title reigns (7) and he's looking to further that achievement, a decision that has him gearing up to take on his ex-friend Edge.

5. Batista - Unofficial Number 2 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship
Batista had his shot at the IC Title and I'm sure he liked it, I'm sure he's wanting more. Evolution's monster has been beltless since April of this year (holding the World Tag Team titles with Flair) and he's sure to be aiming for some singles gold for Evolution. With Orton's "departure" from the group...that leaves the IC Division in the hands of Batista.

WWE RAW Tag Team Rankings
World Tag Team Champions - La Resistance

1. Rhyno & Tajiri - Current Number 1 Contenders to the World Tag Team Championships
After winning the singles match last week, Rhyno has garunteed his team a shot at the tag titles at the coming PPV. This makeshift duo has had great success since teaming up and a reign as World Tag Team Champions would only cap that achievement off.

WWE SmackDown! Singles Rankings
WWE Champion - John Bradshaw Layfield

1. Booker T - Current US Champion
Although Booker is currently engaged in a battle with John Cena for the US Title in a Best of 5 Series (1-0, Cena), there is no official Number 1 Contender and Booker, as US Champion, should be, rightly so, looked at as the only person officially able to challenge for the belt.

2. The Undertaker - Unofficial Number 2 Contender to the WWE Championship
The Phenom blew his chance at the WWE Title at SummerSlam but, after what happened on last week's SmackDown!, look for 'Taker to cement himself back into contention for that title heading into SummerSlam. Don't think that 'Taker is done with Layfield by any means just yet.

3. Kurt Angle - Unofficial Number 3 Contender to the WWE Championship
Kurt and Eddie aren't finished, not yet. There's to much bad blood here to see this one over already. BUT, Kurt did win the match at SummerSlam, a match that should be considered the unofficial contender's match, with the winner, more or less, getting an eventual title shot. Look for Kurt and Eddie to finish things and then branch off to the WWE Championship, with common sense saying Kurt gets the first crack.

4. John Cena - Current Number 1 Contender to the US Championship
After getting the heads up on Booker in the Best of 5 Series, Cena seems to be looking straight at the US Title and not the WWE Title. Maybe he had enough of that belt when Brock Lesnar defeated him last year? Doubtful, but all indications show that Cena is concentrating on the US Title and will be for some time.

5. Eddie Guerrero - Unofficial Number 4 Contender to the WWE Championship
Eddie lost his SummerSlam match against Kurt Angle but he's yet to recieve a fair title shot after losing his belt to Layfield at The Great American Bash. After Eddie & Kurt settle their differences and after Kurt takes his title shot (as the rankings at this moment indicate Kurt should get his before Eddie), look for Eddie to make another run for the title he was screwed out of.

WWE SmackDown! Tag Team Rankings
WWE Tag Team Champions - Billy Kidman & Paul London

1. The Dudley Boyz - Unofficial Number 1 Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships
Although the Dudleys have already had their shots at the Tag Titles...what other teams are there to challenge? The Bashams have already lost and were sent back to the bottom of the pile so that reshuffles the Dudleys to the top. And after their match with the Champs and Rey Mysterio at SummerSlam, all signs point to the Dudley Boyz picking up Tag Title reign number 19 before 2005 comes in.
