Raw Brand Individual Rankings
Chris Benoit - World Heavyweight Champion

1) HHH - Number 1 Contender for World Heavyweight title
Hunter was officially made the Number 1 Contender on this past week's RAW by Eric Bischoff and will recieve his shot at the title LIVE next week on RAW in network television's second Iron Man match. Benoit will be looking to continue his now 4 month reign while Hunter looks to add his 3rd World Heavyweight Championship to his resume.

2) Edge - Intercontinental Champion
After winning the title at Vengeance and then defending it against former champion Randy Orton on RAW, Edge is easily in contention for the World Heavyweight Championship and could possibly move into the title picture following next week's title defense.

3) Randy Orton
Orton has lost 2 in a row now, both of which involved the Intercontinental Title but due to his record breaking reign as champion he can still be looked at as being in contention for the World Heavyweight Championship.

4) Kane
Kane went down at the hands of Matt Hardy at Vengeance and Chris Jericho the very next night on RAW but he made up for those losses with a victory over Jericho on this past week's RAW in a Falls Count Anywhere match, although it was only after assistance from Batista. Kane is just moving away from the World Heavyweight Championship picture after 2 unsuccessful attempts in a row so he could be setting his sites on a run at the Intercontinental Championship, that is if he's done with Matt Hardy.

5) Batista
Batista's victory over Jericho at Vengeance and, although he lost both of them, his matches against Edge 2 weeks ago and Chris Benoit last week could be setting Evolution's monster on a track that ends at SummerSlam and the Intercontinental title. Batista may not be ready for the World Heavyweight Title just yet but he could definately be in contention for the Intercontinental Title if he choose to aim for it instead of Chris Jericho.

6) Chris Jericho
Jericho lost at Vengeance to Batista, won the next night on RAW against Kane, but lost this past week to the Big Red Machine and he's still in contention. The Human Highlight Reel should be looked at as a threat to any title he aims for and, at this point, he may very well start aiming for fellow Canadian Edge but only after he tries to topple Batista, who has seemingly made it his personal mission to end Jericho.

7) Matt Hardy
Matt's victory over Kane at Vengeance has catapaulted Matt into a position where he could end up challenging for the Intercontinental Title but, after not having any significant matches over the last 2 weeks he's dropped from contention in the World Heavyweight Title hunt. Matt needs to solve his problems with both Lita and Kane and then set his sights on a title, even if he has to pick up a partner and go for the tags.

8) Ric Flair
Based on sheer name power alone, Ric Flair should more than be considered as a title contender, any title. Flair hasn't had any significant singles victories for awhile so there are other people in line above him for that, 7 in fact, but he can still be looked at as a Intercontinental hunter, if he so chooses to go for it.

Raw Brand Team Rankings
La Resistance - World Tag Team Champions

1) Hurricane and Rosie
After being missing for the last few weeks, Hurricane and Rosie are back and seem to be aiming for those tag titles. Nothing is official yet but, after the encounter they had with the champs on RAW, look for them to have a shot at the titles either before or at SummerSlam.

2) Tajiri and Rhyno
With an impressive tag victory at Vengeance and equally impressive singles victories in the weeks following, these two will be in contention for the titles right after they finish up with Garrison Cade and the Coach.

WARNING: The SmackDown! rankings WILL include spoilers from this coming Thursday's SmackDown! telecast so read on only if you want to know what will happen.

SmackDown! Brand Individual Rankings
John Bradshaw Layfield - WWE Heavyweight Champion

1) The Undertaker - Number 1 Contender for the WWE Heavyweight Title
The Undertaker made his TV return on SmackDown! and seems to have put Paul Heyman behind him as the Deadman announced that he is now the Number 1 Contender and will meet Bradshaw at SummerSlam with the title on the line

2) Eddie Guerrero
Guerrero lost his rematch last week thanks to Kurt Angle and is now on a crash-course with the former General Manager. Once Guerrero finishes with Angle he will, more than likely, be back in the title picture against either JBL or The Undertaker. Look for Guerrero to try and regain his title again as early Survivor Series.

3) Booker T
Before being fired from his position as General Manager, Kurt Angle told Booker that he was going to be named the new US Champion next week on SmackDown!. Angle was fired so it remains to be seen whether Booker will be the new champ or not but even with the announcement Booker should be considered as being a top challenger for the WWE Heavyweight title.

4) John Cena
Cena was stripped of the US Title after a 4 month reign and has followed that up in recent weeks by holding his own in a 3-on-1 Handicapped match last week and a victory over Luther Reigns this week. Cena could move in on the new US Champ once he is crowned or he could try to jump in on the current WWE Heavyweight title scene, the choice is his but the windows are closing fast for both.

5) Rey Mysterio - Cruiserweight Champion
As a current title holder in the WWE, Mysterio is already in contention for both the WWE Heavyweight and US titles. However, now that a new Cruiserweight Number 1 Contender has been named in Spike Dudley, Rey should concentrate on defending the title he has now. If he decides to move into a different division he should attempt at the US Title first and see how he does before mixing it up with some of the sport's top heavyweights in the WWE Heavyweight Championship division.

6) Rob Van Dam
Van Dam has been pulling Velocity duty lately after a string of losses in his bid for the US title. Once a new US Champ is crowned RVD should jump at the chance to get back on SmackDown! and, even if he has to utilize the phrase "by any means necessary", he needs to get that belt in order to make his trade to SmackDown! worthwhile.

7) Rene Dupree
After a humiliating defeat at the hands of Cena in last week's 3-on-1 handicapped match Dupree is looking to be added to the Velocity lineup unless he can prove his worth to SmackDown!. Dupree either needs to set his sights on the US Title again and use Eddie Guerrero's philosophy of "cheat to win" in order to obtain it or pick up a partner and regain glory in the tag team division.

8) Kurt Angle
Angle is a former WWE Champion but after being out of action since Wrestlemania XX, he could be rusty. Angle will be taking on Eddie Guerrero, possibly at SummerSlam, but after that he'll be looking to make his way back towards the title and after attacking Mr. McMahon on SmackDown!...don't look for his climb to be easy.

SmackDown! Brand Team Rankings
Paul London and Billy Kidman - WWE Tag Team Champions

1) The Dudley Boys - Number 1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles
The Dudley Boys will finally recieve their rematch for their titles on next week's SmackDown! and will be looking to put the Shooting Stars out of action.

2) FBI
The FBI have been a pain in the collective ass of the current WWE Tag Champs and, whether they make it past the Dudley Boys with or without the titles next week, the FBI will be looking to administer a beatdown to London and Kidman.

3) Billy Gunn and Bob Holly
Billy and Bob will be looking to show that experience pays. Collectively these men have over 20 years of experience in a ring and, once their tenure on Velocity is done, will be looking to secure the WWE Tag Team titles with their patented Gunn-Holly Bomb.

4) Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Jamie Noble
Two men who united and have been performing wonderfully together, Guerrero and Noble could prove to be the current champs' greatest challenge, simply because the cruiserweight factor is unpredictable. These two would be able to put the Shooting Stars through a clinic but, in a sport where most Kindergarten rules are forgotten, they must wait their turn.

5 The Bashams
The Bashams are former champions and have proven themselves in tag team matches in the past...unfortunately for them, the past is just that, the past! They've yet to do anything of importance lately and have been used as Velocity filler but once they get their asses back in gear they'll be a threat to anyone who holds the titles.
