RAW opened up with the video package of last Monday when Triple H inadvertantly hit Shane McMahon with a sledgehammer.  The camera went to Mr. McMahon, who is sitting in his office.  He told the audience that the only reason his son Shane survived the attack was because of his superior conditioning and genetics.  Tonight, McMahon is forcing Triple H to make a public apology, which will allow him to get his vengeance.

The fireworks went off in the arena as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomed us to the show, which is being held in the University of Nevada – Las Vegas (UNLV).  There was a portrait or something covered up in the middle of the ring.  Mick Foley made his way down to the ring in a suit.  He grabbed a microphone and told the audience that he is not a bad guy.  He is a loveable guy and told the audience that it is not that great to be in Las Vegas.  He hopes the audience agrees that it is more admirable to get what deserve.  He did not become a three-time WWE Champion by working hard and not rolling a seven on the craps table.  He did not become a two-time best-selling author by putting a quarter into a slot machine.  He wanted to introduce a man who got everything he deserved.  He introduced his new partner, Edge, who made his way down to the ring with Lita.  The crowd booed them instantly, but Foley quickly told Lita that she looked amazing.  He told Edge that he didn’t want to take all the credit for being a part in the greatest hardcore match in WrestleMania history, they did that!  He whipped off the covering of the stand in the middle of the ring, and it happened to be the Hardcore Championship belt.  He gave it to Edge and declared Edge the new Hardcore Champion!  Edge told Foley that he can’t accept the belt because Foley is the true hardcore legend.  He placed the belt on Foley’s shoulder, but Foley replied by challenging him to a match for the Hardcore Championship.  Edge had a better idea and whispered something to Lilian Garcia.  Lilian told the audience that Edge and Foley are the new co-holders of the Hardcore Championship!  They held up the championship, but then the ECW music started up and Paul Heyman stepped onto the entrance ramp.  He told Foley that he prostituted the name of Mick Foley, he prostituted his look, but he is not going to stand by and watch him prostitute the prospect of hardcore.  Foley told Heyman that he is not the General Manager of SmackDown! anymore; he is powerless.  Heyman agreed with him, but he told Foley that he has enough power to make a challenge.  At ECW One Night Stand on June 11th, he wants Foley and Edge to team up and take one any two ECW nobodies he can find.  Edge agreed and they started walking up the entrance ramp.  Heyman quickly introduced their two opponents, Terry Funk and Tommy Dreamer!  Funk and Dreamer came out and started pounding on the WWE wrestlers with garbage can lids and kendo sticks.  They grabbed two baseball bats covered in barbed wire, but Edge, Foley, and Lita ran through the crowd to escape the ambush.  Dreamer and Funk entered the ring and posed for the crowd as Heyman looked on.

Winner by disqualification and still the Intercontinental Champion: Shelton Benjamin

RVD yelled at the referee, but quickly went to the top turnbuckle and hit the five-star frog splash onto Benjamin.

The camera switched to Mr. McMahon, who is in his office with two music producers (I’m not quite sure what their names were).  McMahon told them that he has to go to the ring for a public apology and introduced them to Candice Michelle.  Candice did her normal seducing as McMahon left.

Commercial

Mr. McMahon made his way down to the ring with a microphone.  He told the audience that there will be a public apology here tonight, and the man who will be making the apology is Triple H.  He ordered Triple H to come down to the ring, and he did.  He told Triple H that Shawn Michaels once said that he should forget about the past, but ever since he said, his life became a living hell.  He told Triple H that if he doesn’t get his apology, he will get some swift and vengeful punishment.  He is waiting for those two words.  Triple H teased the fans that he was going to say suck it, which is the trademark saying of Degeneration X, but instead he told McMahon that he was sorry.  McMahon told Triple H that after Michaels’ match against the Spirit Squad tonight, he will command Triple H to come down to the ring with his sledgehammer and bash Michaels’ skull in.  Triple H shook McMahon’s hand and told him they have an agreement.

Up next, John Cena goes one-on-one with Chris Masters.

Todd Grisham is backstage with Kane, who told Grisham that on May 19th, his mother and his adopted family were killed in a fire.  He has spent years suppressing his feelings, but now that May 19th has come and gone and his movie is out, he has never been happier.  He laughed in a freaky fashion as the music of Chris Masters started up.

Winner by submission: John Cena

He celebrated in the ring, but he was interrupted by Rob Van Dam.  He grabbed a microphone and entered the ring.  He told Cena to savor the time he has with the championship, seeing that he has a shot at the WWE Championship.  He reminded Cena of his victory at the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania.  If he didn’t, he would never be rewarded with what he deserves.  He told Cena that he wants to face Cena for the championship, but he wants to face him in a place where he feels more comfortable and the scenario is more in his favor.  He declared to Cena that he is cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on June 11th at ECW One Night Stand!  They had a stare-down and RVD slapped the champion.  They exchanged right hands, but Cena was able to slam him down to the mat.  Chris Masters came back into the ring with the suitcase, but Cena ducked the attack and took Cena down with the FU.  Masters rolled out of the ring as Cena got blasted with the suitcase as RVD hit the Van-Daminator.  He walked up the entrance ramp as Cena looked on.

Viscera is in the ring with a microphone.  He told the audience that he has some big news.  He told Lilian Garcia that they had their differences in the past, but now he knows it is time to settle down.  He asked Lilian if she could bring her sexy bottom into the ring, and Lilian obliged.  She grabbed the microphone and told Viscera that last time they were in Las Vegas, he dumped her for a bunch of the Godfather’s hos!   He agreed with her and told her that he is hungry and horny, so he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.  Before Lilian could answer, Armando Alejandro Estrada stepped onto the entrance ramp and congratulated the happy couple.  He told Lilian that Viscera may be hungry for some action, but so is Umaga!  Umaga and Estrada came down to the ring, but before Umaga could enter, Viscera pushed him off.  They exchanged right hands and chops and Viscera was able to place Umaga near the steel post.  He charged at him, but Umaga moved out of the way and Viscera crashed into the post.  Umaga hit a series of right hands and placed Viscera’s head onto the apron.  He hit his running headbutt before going to the apron.  He jumped off the apron and hit a flying shoulder block.  He hit the Samoan Spike onto Viscera before entering the ring and cheering with Estrada.
