FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Interview With: Taryn Terrell
Interview By: Andy Steven of PWMania.com
Date: September 26, 2007

WWE Diva Search finalist Taryn Terrel recently took some time out of her scheduled to take part in an interview for www.PWMania.com. Taryn Terrel speaks on several topics from being a college cheerleader, posing for Playboy, winning the Diva Search, being a fan of WWE and much more. The complete interview is below:

Andy Steven: Hello Taryn Terrell, firstly I would like to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to take part in this interview for www.PWMania.com. What’s it like to be involved in the 2007 WWE Diva Search?

Taryn Terrell: It has been one of the best experiences of my life. To be a fan of something and then to switch over and actually become involved is a great feeling.

Andy Steven: Did you watch wrestling growing up? If so who were you favourite stars?

Taryn Terrell: Shawn Michaels…hands down. I actually started getting into wrestling about the time Michaels won the belt from Bret Hart at Wrestlemania.

Andy Steven: How did you hear about the Diva Search contest and what made you enter it?

Taryn Terrell: I received an email with this subject “Wanna Wrestle?” Being a wrestling fan and an athlete, I opened it immediately. The audition was in Las Vegas so I decided to take a “vacation” during the same time! I actually came down with the flu and lost my voice before the audition. I showed up with no voice but gave it all I had. I couldn’t believe it when they called me to tell me I made the top 50!!!

Andy Steven: You are a college cheerleader, are you looking forward to bringing your cheerleading skills into WWE, and what other skills could we be expecting from you?

Taryn Terrell: Being a college cheerleader is a lot more than just jumping around on the sidelines! It takes a lot of muscle control and strength. I can be thown 15 feet in the air while doing flips and land perfectly. I know that will definitely help in the ring. In cheerleading, I was a flier… which is the style of wrestling I enjoy the most and want to train extensively in. I have also competed in state and nationals in powerlifting. My max lifts were Bench: 110, Squat: 225, Deadlift: 275. Having that strength will help if I ever get the opportunity to have a match with the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix!!

Andy Steven: Have you made any friendships with people in the WWE or any of the other Diva Search contestants?

Taryn Terrell: This is a competition and we all want to win. It’s hard to make friends at this point in the game. Plus, I didn’t come here to make friends, I came to win. Everyone within WWE has been amazing and I really thank them for this opportunity.

Andy Steven: You have done many shoots for Playboy, something which a few of the WWE Divas have done. Would you consider posing for Playboy again as a WWE Diva if you signed a contract with WWE?

Taryn Terrell: 100% yes!!! I would love to represent WWE within the world of Playboy. I loved Ashley Massaro’s cover, as a matter of fact I have it at my house! Last 4th of July I was jumping on the trampoline with Chyna at the Playboy Mansion. I think it was a sign!! LOL Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that it was a sign!!!

Andy Steven: On the WWE website is states that you bring “a passion to entertain people”, what can the WWE fans expect from you if you land a WWE contract?

Taryn Terrell: They can expect #1 that I want to wrestle. I want to train. I train extensively in weights now and even spar with some indy fighters. As a cheerleader, you have to command attention from large crowds. I have a very loud voice and love to get crowds involved in whatever I am doing. Expect for me to be 100% devoted and loyal. I know of some people who walk after their contract is up seeking other things. I want to stay, I want to win the championship belt!

Andy Steven: What is your opinion on the WWE?

Taryn Terrell: I think it’s a great company and I want to work for them no matter what happens.

Andy Steven: Do you watch WWE programming? Who are your favourite superstars and divas?

Taryn Terrell: Raw and SmackDown! are my favorites. I watch Raw religiously. I also watch the PPV’s. I just went to Unforgiven and Raw in Tennessee last week. It was so much fun. I had front row tickets behind the announcers. My favorite superstars are Triple H, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, and Randy Orton. I am also so glad The Undertaker is back. (His entrance at Unforgiven was insane!!!) My favorite divas are Mickie James and Victoria. I respect them as wrestlers.

Andy Steven: What would you call a good night out in the town?

Taryn Terrell: Most Friday and Saturday nights I spend at the gym. I am very much devoted to physical fitness. Going out and partying is a detriment to that lifestyle. However, I occasionally take a break from my work out regimen. I live in New Orleans where life is about food and music. I like to go to the French Quarter and listen to a good local band, play roulette at the casino, and walk around Bourbon Street!

Andy Steven: Have you notice any jealousy between the Diva Search contestants?

Taryn Terrell: I think some of the girls get intimidated but I can tell you I am not intimidated by anyone.

Andy Steven: How would you feel if you won the 2007 WWE Diva Search and received the WWE one year contract?

Taryn Terrell: Privileged. I would be very honored to work for WWE and would devote myself 100% to them.

Andy Steven: I would like to thank you very much once again for taking this time to take part in this interview for www.PWMania.com, I wish you the best of luck in the future and do you have any messages to say to your fans?

Taryn Terrell: To everyone who supports me, you rock!!!! Keep voting for me and visit me on myspace.com/tnt1228. I am dedicated to this and want to wrestle professionally. Thank you for supporting me! TNT for WWE!!!

Kind Regards,

Andy Steven
