Interview With: Jessica Hatch
Interview By: Andy Steven of PWMania.com
Date:
October 11, 2007

Following her shock elimination, Jessica Hatch took some time out of her schedule to speak with www.PWMania.com once again! She speaks on her shocking elimination, still wanting to be a WWE diva, who she wants and thinks will win the contest and much more! The complete interview is below:

Andy Steven: Thanks for taking this time out once again to take part in this interview for www.PWMania.com.

It was a huge shock to all fans around the world to hear that you were eliminated from the 2007 WWE Diva Search competition as you were one of the fan favourites. How did you hear about your elimination, were you expecting it and how were you feeling?

Jessica Hatch: When I found out I was at a local pub in town hanging out with my friends watching Monday Night Raw on one TV and the Dallas Cowboys on the other TV. I was waiting patiently to see the clip of us on Monday Night Raw. Being that
Texas is a different time zone the posting of the elimination was on the WWE website before I saw the clip. I got a phone call from my webmaster while waiting to see us on TV and he said to me, "Have you checked the website?" I said to him "no, who got eliminated with confidence it wasn't me." He said,” It’s not good." I thought he might be messing with me and being that I was surrounded by a lot of people within the Pub, I said hold on and I quickly walked outside so I could hear him better. I then said,” Are you serious?" He said, "Yes." I was in shock and didn't really know what to say. I definitely didn't expect it. I was very hurt and frustrating more than anything because I had been working my butt off to get myself out there for all the fans to get to know. From attending events to pass out the 10,000 flyers I had printed out, to sending out banners on myspace to vote for me and replying to fans until wee hours of the night on line, to travelling to other states to do radio shows, to doing radio shows 3 and 4 times a week with other states. I felt I was really connecting with the fans.

Andy Steven: Who do you think will win the contest and who do you want to win the contest?

Jessica Hatch: I think Terran will win because she is working hardest to reach fans to allow them to get to know her. I honestly want Eve or
Lena to win because they have unique looks which will add variety to the roster. They are both athletic and have a lot to offer so I would like to see one of them win.

Andy Steven: What has been your highlight during your time in the WWE Diva Search competition?

Jessica Hatch: My highlight during my time in the WWE Diva Search competition would have to be the weekend in Huntington Beach California where we filmed all the competitions for the website and for the clips seen on Monday Night Raw. We had a blast with the casting crew, production crew, the Host Todd Grisham, and everyone else involved. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with.

Andy Steven: What is one of your worst memories from the 2007 WWE Diva Search?

Jessica Hatch: Being eliminated!

Andy Steven: Will you still be pursuing your aim to receive a WWE contract?

Jessica Hatch: You know it. I will fight to the end to be a WWE Diva. I have what it takes and the desire of my heart pushes me to make it to the finish line in another way. I look at what happen as a detour, and what do we do at a detour we go around it and get right back on track, so that is what I am doing. "I can do all things through God who strengthens me."

Andy Steven: Has anyone in the WWE contacted you since the elimination?

Jessica Hatch: Yes they contact you right after the elimination is made to get your initial reaction and ask you a couple of questions. I was also contacted by someone in the production crew and someone in the casting crew. I made good friends with them all and just as a friend would call you when something goes bad in your life they called me. They have confidence in me and feel as though I will get invited to become a part of the roster to be a WWE Diva, but of course they don’t make those calls. All I can do is have Faith it will happen.

Andy Steven: Would you consider signing with another wrestling company to peruse your wrestling career or would you wait for WWE?

Jessica Hatch: I will wait for WWE.

Andy Steven: How did you find the WWE staff and superstars, did you enjoy your time with WWE?

Jessica Hatch: I couldn't of asked for a better group of people to spend a long weekend with in
Huntington Beach . They are a lot of fun and we had a lot of laughs which is one of my favorite things to do.

Andy Steven: Do you have any plans for the near future?

Jessica Hatch: My plans as of now are to start training to prepare myself for the ring so that when my time comes I can be one step ahead as opposed to going in cold.

Andy Steven: I would like to thank you very much once again for taking this time to take part in this interview for www.PWMania.com, I wish you the best of luck in the future, do you have any messages to say to your fans?

Jessica Hatch: For all of my fans out there I just want to say I love you all and thank you for bringing me this far. I want you to stick with me because we are going to make this happen but I can't do it with out y'all so stay by my side. I want to say to all those out there who are not my fans yet to get to know me and I promise you will learn to love me. God Bless y'all all. Love Jess

King Regards,

Andy Steven
