Kobe scores 26, Lakers beat Jazz to take 3-2 lead
So much for Kobe Bryant's sore lower back. Bryant scored 26 points, his teammates kept Utah at bay down the stretch, and Los Angeles Lakers extended the stunning home success by NBA teams in the second round of the playoffs, beating the Jazz 111-104 on Wednesday night to take a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference semifinals.

Kirilenko stuffs Kobe, Lakers in OT as Jazz tie series 2-2
Andrei Kirilenko blocked Kobe Bryant twice in overtime and converted a three-point play with 35 seconds remaining as the Utah Jazz beat the Los Angeles Lakers 123-115 on Sunday, tying the Western Conference semifinals at 2-2. The Jazz went 9-for-9 from the foul line in overtime and outscored the Lakers 15-7 in the extra 5 minutes.

Kobe's 34 points help Lakers beat Jazz and take 2-0 lead

Bryant had 34 points, eight rebounds and six assists Wednesday night, and the Lakers beat the Utah Jazz 120-110 to take a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals and remain the NBA's only unbeaten team in the postseason.

Kobe scores 38 as Lakers beat Jazz 109-98 in series opener
Kobe Bryant, celebrating what is expected to be his first NBA MVP award, did just enough to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to another postseason victory. Bryant had 38 points, six rebounds and seven assists Sunday, and the Lakers made it five straight playoff wins by beating the Utah Jazz 109-98 to begin the second round.

Duncan, Spurs beat Jazz to take 2-0 lead
Ever since Robert Horry sent Steve Nash sprawling, the San Antonio Spurs have become a different team. The Spurs are 4-0 since the loss that featured Horry's suspension-inducing hit on the Phoenix point guard. The roll began with consecutive victories that finished off the Suns in the second round and has continued with two more in the conference finals against the Utah Jazz, the latest a 105-96 victory Tuesday night.
