Sean Payton hung over the railing clapping and shouting down to the crowd as if he were rolling on a Mardi Gras float, then waved a newspaper with the banner headline "WORLD CHAMPS."

Drew Brees--Truly a Miracle Man?
There have been a few feel good stories in the NFL this year, including the comeback of Chad Pennington that took the Jets back to the postseason, the utter destruction of defenses by LaDainian Tomlinson and the utter destruction of offenses by the Baltimore Ravens. As the 2006-2007 opened, all eyes focused on what the new season would hold for the New Orleans Saints.

This is the column I canít write. Iím not even close to talented or eloquent or thoughtful enough to write about what happened in the Louisiana Superdome last night. Maybe somewhere else there is a man who can poetically express what occurred on the field and in the hearts of thousands last night. But itís not me.
