Miami Dolphins management sent a letter to Ricky Williams Friday afternoon stating that Williams would either need to return to the team or pay a debt of $8.6 million for contract purposes.

Williams retired after five years with the team at the young age of 27. Williams failed multiple drug tests, all in which he tested positive for marijuana. Williams led the league in rushing attempts two years in a row before his retirement.

If Williams returns to the NFL next season, he will serve a four game suspension for his failed drug tests and then be cleared to play. Williams insists of retiring for good, so the chance of a return is very unlikely.

His former AFC East opponents, the Buffalo Bills recieved information late today from Willis McGahee. McGahee demanded a trade if he does not start over current starting running back, Travis Henry.

McGahee missed all of last season with an injured knee and is fully healthy for the upcoming season. Henry is starting in pre season games, but there is no word on whether or not this will change over the course of time.

Information was used from the Associated Press in this report.
