LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Los Angeles Clippers signed free-agent forward Tim Thomas on Thursday and also agreed to terms with forward Paul Davis, their second-round draft pick.

Thomas averaged 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds in nine seasons with Philadelphia, Milwaukee, New York, Chicago and Phoenix.

He helped the Suns reach the Western Conference finals last season, averaging 15.1 points and 6.3 rebounds during the playoffs. In the Suns' seven-game semifinal series against the Clippers, Thomas averaged 14.7 points and 6.1 rebounds.

Thomas also shot 44.4 percent from 3-point range during the playoffs.

"Tim is a multitalented player who can play several positions for us," Clippers general manager Elgin Baylor said. "He is very versatile offensively and is able to stretch the defense with his perimeter shooting as well as having a good post-up game."

Davis averaged 13.2 points and seven rebounds during his four-year career at Michigan State. He led the Spartans to a 22-12 record last season, including an appearance in the NCAA tournament. The team reached the Final Four in 2005.

Terms of both deals were not announced.
