Todd Reesing stepped up in the pocket, then backpedaled, sidestepping a defender. He ran around another defender, rolled to his right and set his feet, heaving a pass that hit Dezmon Briscoe perfectly in stride for a touchdown.

Jayhawks' D stuns Hokies in Orange Bowl
The surprising Kansas Jayhawks achieved the unexpected again Thursday - they won the Orange Bowl with defense. While their high-powered offense was stymied most of the night, the Jayhawks came up with three interceptions and beat Virginia Tech 24-21 in the Orange Bowl to cap one of the finest seasons in school history.

Kansas off to 1st 8-0 start in 98 years
Chalk up another win for Kansas, and this one is downright historic. Brandon McAnderson rushed for a career-high 183 yards and two touchdowns and the 12th-ranked Jayhawks improved to 8-0 for the first time since 1909 with a 19-11 win over Texas A&M.
