CHICAGO - Cedrick Banks had 24 points Saturday as Illinois-Chicago beat Georgia Southern 92-83.
Banks also had four rebounds and two steals. Teammate Justin Bowen had 18 points and nine rebounds in only 22 minutes.
The Flames (13-12) led Georgia Southern (16-11) 45-36 at halftime after making 16-of-36 from the field.
Illinois-Chicago also made good use of its offensive rebounds, scoring 23 second-chance points to Georgia Southern's four.
Elton Nesbitt led the Eagles with 24 points. Teammate Jean Francois had 15 points and seven rebounds, while Louis Graham had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
