CHICAGO (AP) -- Elliott Poole scored 18 points and to lead Illinois-Chicago to a 71-65 Horizon League victory over Youngstown State Thursday.
Rocky Collum and Jovan Stefanov each added 14 points and Cedrick Banks scored 13 for Illinois-Chicago (11-10, 6-5). Stefanov lead the Flames with eight rebounds.
Illinois-Chicago lead 35-32 at the half and hit 13-of-17 free throws in the second to secure the victory in front of a home crowd of 3,624.
Quin Humphrey scored 18 points and Khari McQueen had 15 points for Youngstown State (4-18, 2-10). Humphrey also lead the Penguins with nine rebounds.
