CHICAGO (AP) -- Cedrick Banks scored a game-high 39 points to lead Illinois-Chicago to an 81-68 victory over Wright State in a Horizon League game Wednesday night.

The Flames (14-12, 8-7 Horizon League) took a 40-33 lead into halftime before a home crowd of 4,369 at Chicago's UIC Pavilion. The lead changed seven times and was tied eight times in a game that Illinois-Chicago held on to win.

Sloppy play by the Raiders (13-14, 7-8) allowed the Flames to score 19 points off turnovers. Wright State scored just 9 points after Illinois-Chicago turned over the ball.

The only other player to score in double digits for the Flames was Karl White, who added 14 points in a game otherwise dominated by Banks. Armond Williams grabbed 12 rebounds for the Flames.

Wright State had three players in double digits. DaShaun Wood scored 19, Drew Burleson had 18 and Everett Spencer added 10 for the Raiders.
