DETROIT -- The Detroit Lions agreed to terms on contracts with veteran guards Edwin Mulitalo and Zach Piller on Sunday.
Lions spokesman Bill Keenist confirmed the deals, but wouldn't discuss the terms. The Detroit Free Press reported Sunday that the team agreed to a three-year deal with Mulitalo and a one-year deal with Piller.
Mulitalo was a seven-year starter for the Baltimore Ravens before being released recently. He started only four games in 2006 after tearing his right triceps. Mulitalo was a Pro Bowl alternate in 2003.
Piller has had numerous injuries during the last three seasons and was recently released by the Tennessee Titans. He played in one game in 2004 and three last season.
