I know I have not been around as much as I should be lately, and I have nobody to blame but myself. I won't go in to details, and instead, get right down to business. Judgment Day Picks.

The Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Apparently, this match was added last night after Smackdown went off the air on WWE.com. Again, I have been mentioning for some time since Big Show's return how he should be given yeoman's payment for the men he has been forced to be working with. From Floyd Mayweather and Great Khali now to Mark Henry. Not exactly the who's who of technical specialists, regardless of how good an athlete Mayweather may be.

Power vs. Power, this is a match for the ages. Henry and Show as power men solely, Henry's got a shot. Show, however, CAN WRESTLE. Henry, in my opinion, cannot. With that being said, its a pretty good guess how this will go, and the Big Show will get a well deserved yeoman's victory.

WINNER: The Big Show

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
Is it as predictable to you as it is to me that Batista will play a major part in this match? Batista has no match on the card, he has a major beef with Shawn Michaels, and he's no fan of Y2J. Based on the promo from last night as well, it's pretty simple to decipher. If you can't see that writing on the wall, well, let's just say, nothing. This example is one of the things that is very trying to me with regard to WWE creative. It's too damn predictable.

Now, with that being said, it's a tremendous wrestling match. If they let the two men go at it, mano y mano, it's a pick 'em match. With the emotional aspects in this match, I am doubting we'll get a clear and clean finish. I know it's a tricky pick, but hey, let's go for it.

No Contest

John Cena vs. John Bradshaw Layfield
Doesn't this remind you of a couple of years ago, and the I Quit Match on this same PPV for the WWE title that brought JBL's career spiraling down to the eventual pause that he had to endure? Now, two years later, we're back again, and the emotion is just as high as it was back then. My only question on this match is simple. Has Cena spread himself too thin with the movie? Shooting the movie, and getting on a plane to combat in this match against a brawler like Layfield may be a bigger hold than someone like Cena can handle at this particular time. Not to mention the fact that I think you'd be a fool not to think that JBL's got the chip on his shoulder about having to prove something to himself against Cena for the less than stellar showing that the two men had during Wrestlemania.

This is a tough match to call because who needs the push more? It's obvious Cena has more work to do with the movie, otherwise he'd be involved in a feud for the title, and JBL needs a win here to get back in to the title picture. Question remains is, when does the champion change his spots? That answer may be tatamount to who wins this match. For now, I'm gonna stick with my heart, instead of my head. I'll probably regret this, but....

WINNER: John Cena

WWE Women's Championship
Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Melina
A tough match to call. I am thrilled they put the belt back on Mickie James, but here could be her swansong. It's kind of obvious that Melina is en route to some form of a turn, especially with the beating she took at the hands of Phoenix recently. With that being said, and the tough call that a champion has to endure with a triple threat match, the title is in jeopardy, I think. Question is, does WWE want to try another title change here or not? It's a good question. I am going to go with my heart here again.

WINNER: Mickie James

WWE Tag Team Championship
John Morrison & The Miz vs. ECW Champion Kane & CM Punk
I really like this match. The most dominant team in WWE by a large margin vs. the Big Red Monster & Mr. Money In the Bank, or quite possibly, the 2nd most dominant team in WWE. Question remains, does WWE put the extra bling with Kane and Punk, or keep Morrison and Miz at the top of the mountain? I have to believe that here will be a title change for one reason. Bad knee, or no bad knee, neither Miz nor Morrison have a significant counter ability to counteract Kane's strength. Kane and Punk are as close to a perfect team of speed and size that I've seen in a long time. I think the push they could get as tag champs would be very good to experience for the product. I see the bling increasing for the challengers in this match.

WINNERS: Kane & CM Punk

To determine a new World Heavyweight Champion
The Undertaker vs. Edge
It was written everywhere that Undertaker was due a long run as World champion before Wrestlemania. Personally, I think WWE and Vince stripped Undertaker of the world title because the maniac at the chairman's office wanted to spite us writers here at the IWC web sites all over the web who have been saying that WWE owed Undertaker a run like what was expected. The report I read today is the "internal" idea that WWE thinks Edge is a better champion than challenger. Maybe so, but as a champion with a faction involving a general manager who is losing her show quicker than a hiccup, it's not working. I have to believe that Undertaker will win the belt back, one way or another, and do so the old fashioned way, chokeslam or tombstone.

WINNER: The Undertaker

WWE Championship
Steel Cage Match

Triple H vs. Randy Orton
Blood will be spilled here. That's a lock. Why? Simple. These two men know each other well, and they know how to perform under the big stage lights like what will happen here. And in the realm of a steel cage, the magnification of this match goes up 10 fold. Both men can handle it. They've done it for years. I read a report that Orton is burning out a little at both ends, probably from the new child at home, and he not being there. I think that's going to have a point in this match. Orton may give all he has, and from there, take a few weeks to go home, and spend time with his new child. I don't think the title changes hands here, but this match should be pretty damn good to watch, from what I believe.

WINNER: Triple H

That's it. I hope this PPV is better than what it looks like on paper.
Thanks for reading.
