T’was the night before Christmas

And WWE finally did it!

They took a fan favorite

And had to admit

That the fans might be right,

WWE has been tardy.

We have a new champion,

His name is Jeff Hardy!

High-flying and brave,

This rainbow-haired wonder

Astounds all his fans

And they yell loud as thunder.

Love him or hate him,

John Cena surprised us.

He chose as a partner

(She was nobody’s guess.)

Trish Stratus returned!

Brought back Stratusfaction!

And all the men know

That she’s quite an attraction.

But of course there are others who excite and who please,

There’s ‘Taker, there’s 3H, there’s Punk, who appease.

And Rey Rey, and Michaels, Batista and Kane,

Jericho, Randy Orton, Matt Hardy cause pain.

Entertainment it’s called

But is that all it is?

No, danger exists

In this type of biz.

Many athletes get hurt

In this game that is “fake”.

Kennedy and Batista

Just two that did break.

But it is all worth it,

That’s what they all say.

All the risks are well known

When they come out to play.

Again, as before

Many stars took the flight

To Iraq for time six,

To try to bring light

To the men and the women

Who serve us with pride.

They deserve just a moment

To forget that they’ve cried.

They are in a tough place

Just for us, for our freedom.

And the athletes who went there,

They used all their wisdom

To make a small difference

With their chosen career,

To these men and these women,

And they were sincere.

So let’s not forget

To try to do right.

Merry Christmas to all,

And to all a good night!

Be safe and God Bless,

Viva La Raza,

Barb.
